Title:   Front Office Receptionist/მიმღები-რეგისტრატორი

Location:  Gudauri, Georgia

Department:   Front Office

Reports to:      Front Office Manager

Skills and abilities:

  • Experience in front desk and customer service capacities;
  • Hands-on experience in giving information to visitors and answering their questions;
  • Experience with Hotel PMS such as Opera or Fidelio considered as a plus;
  • Fluent English and Russian, any additional languages considered as a plus;
  • Highly skilled in handling incoming calls and routing them appropriately;
  • Representative, positive appearance and nice smile;
  • Able to maintain an organized reception area;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Can-do attitude and ability to think outside the box;
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time;
  • Avid understanding of front desk operations;
  • Good time management skills;
  • Good organizational skills;

Main responsibilities:

  • Greet, register and assign rooms to guests;
  • Manage the registration process;
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs appropriately;
  • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls;
  • Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person;
  • Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities and travel directions;
  • Compute bills and take payments;
  • Provide guests with directions around the hotel;
  • Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments when a problem is reported;
  • Balance payments at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift;
